Busy

I'm considering leaving dA and TLKFAA for a while. Not yet, maybe next month. School is keeping me busy, I have a couple of things to do. Up to now, coming to dA or TLKFAA has been like a "reward" after a hard day. But recently it has begun to feel like a responsibility...

I feel that I'm letting my fans down if I don't upload every other day.

I also have a problem with saying "no". My trades are closed. It says so in my deviantID. However, I get people asking me for a trade at least twice a week. And I hate saying "no". It makes me feel like a mean, arrogant person. And when I'm doing trades, I only do 5 or so... Because I don't have time for more! And I feel that I've made those who didn't get a trade unhappy. But let's face it - if I were to do a trade with everyone who asked, I wouldn't have time for anything else. (That sounded a bit more conceited than I intended... )

I'm not as fast in making my comic pages as I'd like to be. But hey, asking me "when is the next page coming??" is not going to make me do it any faster. It's nice that people like my comic, but... Patience! I'm making the pages as fast as is possible for me. Sometimes I just want to draw something else. If the comic becomes a responsibility, it's not fun anymore. And if it's not fun, I won't do it. Simple.

So yeah... I think it's time to take a break. Right now, I'm stressing more over dA and TLKFAA than school stuff. And that's not right. Drawing is not going to help me pay my rent, food etc.

But as I said, I won't be leaving just yet. I'll stick around for a few weeks.
